The questions almost everyone asks first
What is your delivery time?
If a tool has to be built for your dimension, reckon on about three months to the sample. For replacement seals and for dimensions whose tool already exists it is considerably quicker — we will give you the actual date with the quote.
What does a mold cost?
That depends on the design. Your size can often be produced from molds we already have, and then there are no tooling costs at all. If a new one is needed, we quote the cost with the offer, before you decide.
Will you help us with the seal design?
Yes, that is the normal case. Send a drawing or a model — we will tell you which design fits and which ds your pressure calls for. The figures for your drawing are in the Design guidelines.
Which approvals can you offer?
That depends on the material and on your application. The elastomer overview shows which grades come into question for food and hygiene applications. Which evidence is needed in your case we clarify beforehand — before you order.
